In 1954, Nitto is stabilizers Business Unit succeeded first in Japan in developing organano-tin stabilizers for PVC. Since then we have continued to supply products that meet needs of the times and are useful to people’s lives. These products include our FDA-approved octyl-tin stabilizers, which we were first in Japan to manufacture and launch.
In 2008, we completed acquisition of Sankyo Yuki Gosei Co.,Ltd. (present Daiichi Sankyo chemicalPharma Co.,Ltd.)'s chemicals division,then a major company in the industry, thereby expanding our product range.
Today, regulatory restrictions on PVC and organo-tin compounds are becoming increasingly severe for environmental protection, to which changes we are responding with fair and proper solutions, accepting our responsibility as a leading organo-tin stabilizer manufacturer in Japan.
